Chris developed his photographic talent in the early 1970s whilst undertaking biological research for three years in the frozen wilderness of Antarctica.
This was followed by a couple of years employed by the Victoria State Government's marine fisheries department in Australia.
Keen to bring those exciting personal experiences to the wider audience, Chris embarked upon a lifetime's ambition to combine the very best of his photographic library with a unique style of original verse and prose.
The intervening years working in the UK and travelling, both professionally and recreationally, through Western Europe and Scandinavia brought many more opportunities to expand his portfolio and pursue that ambition.
This exhibition, based purely upon local subjects found in Norfolk during recent years, adheres to his central theme of expressing, in pictures and verse, his "close encounters with nature" and its wonders.
